Lake Pleasant is located 30 miles Northwest of Phoenix and is one of Arizona’s premier fisheries because of the many different species of fish that inhabit its crystal clear water. It is the largest lake in the greater Phoenix area and provides the angler the opportunity to catch trophy sized fish on a variety of species including: Largemouth Bass, Striped Bass, White Bass, Crappie, Bluegill, Carp, and two species of Catfish. The lake is located at the foot of the Bradshaw Mountains and is surrounded by beautiful desert scenery and is inhabited by a vast array of wild life including: deer, javelina, wild burros, and multiple species of birds (including bald eagles). In addition, the lake is known for its spectacular desert sunrises and sunsets. There is no limit on a number of species of fish that inhabit the lake, so it is easy to see why Lake Pleasant is considered one of the premier lakes in Arizona by anglers. At an elevation of 7,500 feet, it is cool summer get away surrounded by majestic Ponderosa Pines and Aspens. The lake covers 55 acres and is teaming with hungry Rainbow trout. The lake is stocked regularly throughout the summer and into the fall. Willow Springs Lake is the sister lake to Woods Canyon Lake. It is just two miles up the road from the Woods Canyon turnoff on Highway. Willow Springs Lake covers 158 acres of equally beautiful majestic Ponderosa Pines, Oak, and Douglas fir trees. This beautiful high country lake contains a variety of fish species including: Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Brook Trout, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, and Bluegill. There are no limits on the number of Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, and Bluegill that the angler can catch. Willow Springs is also stocked with trout on a regular basis as is Woods Canyon. Bartlett Lake is a reservoir that was formed by the damming of the Verde River in the U.S. state of Arizona. It is downstream and to the south of Horseshoe Reservoir. Constructed in 1936–39 by the Salt River Project, the Bartlett Dam and reservoir were named for Bill Bartlett, a government surveyor.
Fish: Largemouth bass, Smallmouth bass, Channel catfish, Flathead catfish, Black crappie

Saguaro Lake
Saguaro Lake is the fourth reservoir on the Salt River formed by the Stewart Mountain Dam in the U.S. state of Arizona. The lake is off State Route 87, about halfway between Phoenix and the ghost town of Sunflower.

Canyon Lake is one of four reservoirs that were formed by the damming of the Salt River in the U.S. state of Arizona. The lake was formed by the Mormon Flat Dam, which was completed in 1925 after two years of construction.
